Calrission is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Polyamourus. Hendo Calrission looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calrission scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Calrission tries to clinch up but Ferris circles away and keeps his distance.
A big right from Calrission misses.
Ferris shoots in but no luck this time.
Calrission misses with the combination.
Ferris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Calrission but Calrission pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Ferris counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Ferris is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Ferris uses his free foot to push down on Calrission's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Calrission.

Ferris has control of Calrission's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Calrission regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Calrission bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Calrission wants to pass the guard but Ferris is keeping the position.

Calrission slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Calrission really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ferris tries to buck Calrission off but Calrission is having none of it.
Calrission wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ferris keeps working.

Ferris sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Calrission tries to free his leg and advance position but Ferris is retaining full guard.

Calrission avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Calrission missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Ferris is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Calrission is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ferris pulls his head out easily.

Calrission manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Calrission gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Ferris shoots in and drives through. Calrission sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mick Ferris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Calrission shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ferris but Ferris pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No joy there for Ferris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ferris has his arm under Calrission's chin here. Game over son! Ferris squeezes tightly and Calrission is forced to tap out!
