Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joachim SenHan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). SenHan comes to the cage accompanied by Franzl Lang - Das Kreuz der blauen Berge . Joachim SenHan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SenHan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

SenHan has taken the fight to the clinch.

SenHan has Boyka pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. SenHan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Boyka tumbling to the mat - SenHan dives into Boyka's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
SenHan trying to control but Boyka is working from the bottom.
SenHan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Boyka is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Boyka had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. SenHan defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boyka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boyka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by SenHan.

Boyka decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
SenHan wants to control but Boyka passes into side.

Boyka wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by SenHan, who protects the arm well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Uri Boyka will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

SenHan decides to pull guard.
SenHan trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
SenHan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

SenHan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boyka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

SenHan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boyka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Boyka lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

and Boyka counters with a shoot takedown. SenHan fights it but they end up in guard.

SenHan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Boyka is aware though and is defending well.
SenHan controls Boyka momentarily but Boyka frees himself.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Boyka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. SenHan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

SenHan thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Boyka avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Boyka keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of SenHan's head.

SenHan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boyka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

SenHan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Boyka is aware though and is defending well.

Boyka decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
The fight stays on the outside here - SenHan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

SenHan gets caught flat footed, as Boyka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Let's hope that Boyka has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

SenHan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Boyka down.

SenHan postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
SenHan wants to control but Boyka is keeping him busy.

SenHan slips a nice elbow through Boyka's hands, connecting with Boyka's forehead.

SenHan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boyka has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, SenHan has managed to get both his arms back between Boyka's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joachim SenHan.
