Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Japheth Vasya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adriana Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lima fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vasya sprawls well initially but Lima persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Vasya is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lima's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lima's back!

Lima makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lima.
Lima manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vasya manages to get himself to full guard.

Lima drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lima jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Vasya had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lima is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vasya Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lima's back instead.
Lima manages to reverse the position and now he's in Vasya 's guard. Nice work there by Lima.
Vasya is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
