Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kunta Kinte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen The Gangsta, The Killa, and The Dope Dealer as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Kunta Kinte has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Travis Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kinte doesn't seem bothered though.
Kinte shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kinte feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jackson wriggles free and stands up.
Kinte really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jackson lands with a nice combination. Kinte backs away looking to recover.
Kinte closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Kinte pushes Jackson against the ropes but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kunta Kinte. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jackson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kinte backs up against the ropes.

Travis Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jackson takes the fight into the clinch.

Jackson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kinte regains guard immediately.

Kinte is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jackson wants to stand but Kinte has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jackson looks gassed!

Jackson wants to get up but he can't break Kinte's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kinte working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kinte is tightening it up a little... Jackson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jackson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jackson taps out! nice BJJ there by Kinte!
