Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin O Neill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quantrell Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Neill's entrance music is Sing for the moment - Eminem. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

O Neill closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bishop to the mat! Bishop manages to get full guard.
Bishop wants to get back to his feet but O Neill is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
O Neill trying to control the position from guard on top but Bishop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bishop scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Bishop has managed to clinch.
O Neill fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bishop wants to stall.
O Neill lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bishop or not.
O Neill has Bishop pressed against the cage.
Bishop gets underhooks to prevent O Neill's takedown attempt.

and Bishop counters with a nice uppercut.
O Neill lands a slapping body shot.
Bishop is looking to clinch but O Neill is avoiding it.
O Neill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bishop moves away.
Bishop tries to close the distance and clinch up but O Neill swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bishop is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but O Neill is keeping busy.
O Neill tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bishop's elbow.

O Neill changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bishop fights it off and pushes away nicely.

O Neill feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bishops jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Bishop shoots in and gets a takedown into O Neill's guard.
Bishop wants to control from the top but O Neill keeps moving.
Bishop is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Quantrell Bishop wasn't active enough on the ground.

O Neill throws out a loose jab but Bishop uses good head movement to avoid it.

Nice uppercut lands for O Neill. That snapped Bishop's head back.

O Neill shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

O Neill throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bishop on the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A close round but Quantrell Bishop will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

O Neill chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bishop can pounce on him.

Bishop feints and then cracks O Neill's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow O Neill down.

and Bishop counters by moving into the clinch.
O Neill is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bishop gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

O Neill is looking to sinch up a triangle. Bishop throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to O Neill's body to avoid the submission. O Neill has instead reached around Bishop's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! O Neill arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
