The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Moss. No joy for Carey on that attempt.

Carey closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moss to the mat! Moss manages to get full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
