Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyron Woodley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Woodley has chosen Kanye West-Stronger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rashad Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans misses with a takedown attempt - Woodley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Woodley scores with a nice strike.
Evans wants to clinch

and Woodley counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Evans down! Woodley is looking to finish but Evans is intelligently defending himself.

Evans is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Woodley pushes down on Evans's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Oh Evans is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Woodley is nestled in close to Evans, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Evans on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Evans tries to get out of the position.
Woodley working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Evans's thigh. Evans counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Evans seems to have got his legs back now.
Woodley tries to free his leg and advance position but Evans is retaining full guard.
Evans will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Evans kicks Woodley off and gets to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Woodley. No joy for Evans on that attempt.
Evans is breathing heavily.
Evans takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Woodley goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Evans doesn't manage to clinch there - Woodley circles away.

and Woodley counters with a big uppercut that knocks Evans off his feet! Woodley dives into side control looking to finish!
Woodley postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Woodley scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Evans is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Woodley can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
