Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Curtain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curtain's entrance music is I'm coming home. A fine choice. Ben Jackson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kevin Curtain's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curtain misses with a looping right.
Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Curtain throws a half hearted mid kick.
No luck for Curtain with that takedown attempt.
Jackson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Curtain. Curtain obviously looking to wear him down.
Curtain throws out a powerful jab.
Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jackson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Curtain shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Curtain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Curtain takes a swing at Jackson's ribcage but misses.
Jackson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Curtain tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it.

Jackson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Kevin Curtain has been cut.
Curtain takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Curtain moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.

Jackson moves into the clinch.
Jackson lands an uppercut.
Curtain is looking to break free of the clinch but Jackson has double underhooks.
Curtain tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jackson's elbow.
Curtain's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Curtain tries for a takedown. No joy.
Curtain wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Jackson is pushing Curtain up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Curtain tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jackson smiles and moves away.

A left lands for Jackson.
Curtain is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ben Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jackson lands a nice shot to the body.
Curtain uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jackson.
Curtain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Curtain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Curtain.
Jackson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Curtain rather than just go for the knockout.
Jackson thows a body kick. Curtain tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Jackson moves away from the strike by Curtain.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Curtain. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Curtain looks for the body kick but Jackson saw that one coming.

A slow jab from Curtain misses its intended target.
Curtain sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Curtain throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Curtain takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jackson scores with a nice right hand.

Curtain is rocked!
Jackson digs a good body shot into Curtain's ribs.
Jackson scores with the left hand. Curtain knows he should have avoided that one.
Oh Curtain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson scoring well with a low kick there.
Curtain gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Jackson gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Curtain is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
