Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kris Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mama said knock you out. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture throws a looping overhand right but Marsh ducks down to avoid it.
Marsh gets the takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Marsh in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Couture takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Couture is looking to reverse the position.
Marsh scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Couture to see if he's OK.
An elbow from Marsh crashes against the mat.
Marsh misses with the ground and pound.
Marsh working the ground and pound from side control.
Marsh trying to control the position but Couture is working away.
Couture tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Marsh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Couture struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marsh has hold of Couture's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Couture tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Marsh cranks the arm and Couture screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Couture, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kris Marsh!
