Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Itsik Obas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yunjiro Orca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orca is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eye of the Tiger. Yunjiro Orca is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obas waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Orca.
Orca shoots in but no luck this time.

Obas creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Orca's defenses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Obas is pushing Orca up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Orca ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Orca no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Obas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Obas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Orca seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Obas throws a sloppy head kick and Orca moves out of range easily.
Obas lands with a kick to the temple. Orca shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Orca tries to score a power double leg takedown but Obas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Orca somewhat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Obas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
