The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Row swings for the body but Roberts moves out of range.
Row misses with a low kick.

Row has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Row shoots in looking for a takedown. Roberts tries to sprawl out of it but Row keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roberts manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Row drives through with a takedown into guard.
Roberts is looking to sweep but instead, Row has passed into half guard.
Row not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Row lands a nice short elbow.

Row throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roberts's waist but Roberts gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Row off to one side.

Roberts lands a head kick that stumbles Row and the fighters go to the mat.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Roberts postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Row covers up, he's hurt! Roberts keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Roberts and the ref steps in to end the fight! Roberts can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
