The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fereira scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Boran manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Fereira wants to get back to his feet.
Boran sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fereira defending well though.
Boran wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Fereira uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Boran throws and elbow that misses. Fereira uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boran's guard. Nice move by Fereira!
Boran keeping moving, preventing Fereira from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fereira prevents Boran from getting back to his feet.
Boran pulls Fereira in close to prevent any damage.
Fereira trying to control but Boran is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boran lands a head kick. Fereira smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Boran shoots in looking for a takedown but Fereira manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boran's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fereira wants to clinch.
Fereira tries to clinch there but Boran circles away.
Fereira shoots in for a double leg but Boran sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Boran stalks Fereira and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fereira's face. Fereira staggers backwards, shaken.

Fereira is rocked!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boran stuns Fereira with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fereira is still on wobbly legs! Can Boran finish him?
Boran shoots in looking for a takedown but Fereira manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boran's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fereira sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Fereira seems to have recovered his senses.
Both fighters circling a little - Boran finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Fereira walks into a stiff left hand from Boran.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Boran.
Bakow Boran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fereira looks gassed!
Fereira misses with a takedown attempt - Boran sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Boran lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Boran fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Fereira to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Fereira looks to clinch but Boran throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Fereira taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
