Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Pollock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Brigante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollock looks to score with a jab to the body but Brigante is just out of range.
A shot to the liver by Brigante. Beautiful body shot.
Pollock throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pollock takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Brigante throws a sloppy head kick and Pollock moves out of range easily.

Brigante wants to work for an arm triangle but Pollock is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Brigante wants to take a breather but Pollock is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pollock moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Brigante distracts Pollock with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Brigante stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pollock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Charles Brigante has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Pollock drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Brigante counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pollock's knee momentarily.
Pollock lands a nice hook to Brigante's body. Brigante takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

A close round but Charles Brigante will probably get the nod.
That's time! Pollock's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Pollock dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Pollock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brigante.

Brigante takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Brigante shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Pollock connects with a body shot that sends Brigante's belly button to the back.

Pollock is looking to wear down Brigante with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Pollock throws a leg kick but Brigante checks it.

Pollock shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brigante as he jumps to the side.
Brigante throws a front kick aimed at Pollock's knee but Pollock avoids it well.

Pollock feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brigantes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Pollock closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Brigante's guard.
Pollock slips nicely into half guard.
Pollock is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Pollock fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Brigante is rocked!
Pollock unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Brigante wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Pollock celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
