Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alpha Male (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filip Mirkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filip Mirkovic will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirkovic showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Male.
Mirkovic is trying hard to land a takedown here. Male sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Male avoids the body shot from Mirkovic.
Male shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mirkovic sprawls well. Mirkovic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Male gets slowly back to his feet.
Mirkovic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Male tries to avoid it but Mirkovic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Male to the ground. Male escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mirkovic tries to clinch but Male moves out of range.
Male misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mirkovic closes the distance looking to clinch
and Male moves into the clinch.

Male jumps into guard, dragging Mirkovic to the mat.
Male on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Male tries to get out of the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mirkovic thows a big elbow that misses.
Mirkovic wants to stand and escape but instead Male has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Male prevents Mirkovic from getting back to his feet.
Mirkovic not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Male stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Male fails with a takedown attempt.
Mirkovic moves out of range of the leg kick from Male.
Mirkovic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Male pinned against the cage. Male gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alpha Male has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Filip Mirkovic.

Mirkovic closes the distance and clinches up with Male, looking for a takedown. Mirkovic pushes Male against the cage but Male circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Male closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mirkovic goes for a takedown in the clinch but Male prevents it.
Mirkovic drops down looking for an ankle pick but Male pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mirkovic looks gassed!
Nice takedown defense from Mirkovic. No joy for Male on that attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A head kick misses from Male.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Male drives through and clinches with Mirkovic against the cage.
Male pulls guard effortlessly.
Mirkovic stands up out of Male's guard for a moment - Male manages to land a nice upkick.
Male throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mirkovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Male. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mirkovic throws a strike but Male rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Male working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mirkovic's head.
Male is pushing down on Mirkovic's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mirkovic is fighting to maintain full guard but Male has managed to sneak the leg through.
Mirkovic flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Male is working for a submission of some sort.
Male is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Mirkovic is in trouble now - Male has advanced to mount!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Male sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alpha Male dominated that round.

Male forces Mirkovic back against the cage and clinches.
Male gets control of Mirkovic's arms and successfully pulls guard. Male will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Male manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Male is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mirkovic can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
