Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carden Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pig Halperin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halperin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Somewhere Over the Rainbow. On his way into the cage it seems that Carden Douglas has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Carden Douglas seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halperin slips a jab and a cross from Douglas.
Douglas throws a leg kick but Halperin checks it.
Douglas avoids a kick to the body.
No luck for Douglas with that takedown attempt.
Douglas misses with a double jab.
Douglas throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Halperin fails to land with a series of punches.

Douglas instigates a clinch.
Halperin is trying to break free.
Douglas throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Douglas.
Douglas stalling in the clinch but Halperin improves position.
Halperin is looking to break free of the clinch but Douglas has double underhooks.
Douglas missing with knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Douglas lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Halperin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Douglas stalks Halperin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Halperin's face. Halperin staggers backwards, shaken.

and Halperin counters with a slapping leg kick.
Douglas is breathing heavily.
Halperin lands a nice shot to the body.

Douglas misses with a two punch combination.
Douglas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pig Halperin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Douglas counters with a single leg into guard. Halperin didn't expect that.

Douglas is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Halperin has managed to free his arm - good work.

Halperin has one foot on Douglas's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Halperin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Douglas counters with a series of strikes. Halperin will be more careful next time no doubt.
Douglas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Douglas doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Halperin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Douglas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Halperin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Douglas is out of range and Halperin settles back down.
Douglas scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Pig Halperin has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Douglas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Halperin.

Douglas feints and as Halperin raises his hands in defense, Douglas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Douglas trying to control the position from guard on top but Halperin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Douglas wants to pass the guard but Halperin is keeping the position.
Halperin is looking to stand back up but Douglas counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Halperin.

Douglas decides to stand back up. Douglas steps back and let's Halperin get back to his feet.
Douglas throws a lazy head kick
and Halperin counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Douglas to take - he tumbles to the cavas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Halperin!
