This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lulz. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Shackleford might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shackleford can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Shackleford's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Lulz wants to control the pace but Shackleford is squirming around nicely.

No joy there for Shackleford, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
For Lulz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to For Lulz.
