PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Lunde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Munro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munro has chosen ali g as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lunde throws an off balance right hand

and Munro counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lunde's guard now.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Munro trying to control but Lunde is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lunde looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Munro has picked Lunde up and slammed him! Lunde can't keep hold of the triangle and Munro manages to pass to side control!

Lunde has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Lunde tries to free his leg and advance position but Munro is retaining full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Munro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lunde doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lunde manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Munro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lunde can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lunde drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Munro manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lunde has Munro in his guard.

Lunde has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Munro defend it? Lunde steps over the head and cranks it - Munro is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lunde!
