The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butterfly shoots in looking for a takedown. Ranetok tries to sprawl out of it but Butterfly keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ranetok manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ranetok connects with an inside leg kick.
Butterfly is breathing heavily.
Butterfly shoots in but Ranetok avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Butterfly avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Ranetok pushes Butterfly up against the cage in a clinch.

Ranetok drops Butterfly with a big knee straight up the middle! Butterfly is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Night Butterfly has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ranetok will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
