Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitmon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitmon Lee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira throws a right and a left that Lee avoids nicely.
Oliveira swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Oliveira looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lee lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Oliveira at a distance.
Lee looks to land a combination but Oliveira avoids it well.
A jab from Oliveira misses.
Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oliveira uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee.
Oliveira looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well.
Lee clinches up with Oliveira and pushes him back against the cage.

Oliveira is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Lee's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Oliveira pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lee back to the cage. Oliveira follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Oliveira moves away from the strike by Lee.
Lee moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Oliveira slips a jab from Lee.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Oliveira is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee.
Hitmon Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliveira loads up on a big right hand but Lee slips the punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hitmon Lee dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Lee counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Oliveira!
Lee unloads with some shots from mount but Oliveira bucks and avoids them well.
Oliveira is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Lee lands a big shot there that rocks Oliveira but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Oooh a big shot lands for Lee! Oliveira is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
