Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Shoryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gandalf Mithrandir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shoryu comes to the cage accompanied by Undertaking the Work of the Lord by Hatewire. Ken Shoryu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoryu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mithrandir fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shoryu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mithrandir ducks right into an uppercut from Shoryu.
Mithrandir takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Mithrandir takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Mithrandir has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Shoryu.
Mithrandir seems to have recovered his senses.

Shoryu thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mithrandir if he has to take too many more of those.
A head kick misses from Shoryu.
A head kick lands from Shoryu that sends Mithrandir to the canvas. Mithrandir tries to scramble back to his feet but Shoryu brings him back down into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
