PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Numero Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holden Hallister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uno comes into the arena with lol blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hallister lands a head shot.
Hallister pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Uno thows a left - swing and a miss!
Uno swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Hallister counters with an outside leg kick.
A solid body kick from Hallister.
Hallister blocks a head kick by Uno.
Uno fakes the leg kick and cracks Hallister in the body.
Uno lands a high kick!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hallister throws a push kick but Uno slaps the foot to one side.
Uno misses with an uppercut.
Uno lands a body shot.
Uno misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hallister shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Uno eats them both and turns towards Hallister to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Numero Uno has been cut.
Hallister throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Hallister blocks a head kick by Uno.
Hallister misses with a kick to the body.

Uno tries a head kick but it misses.
Hallister misses with a head kick.
Uno ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hallister moves away.
Uno misses with a hook. Hallister ducked under it nicely.
Hallister throws a leg kick but Uno sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Uno feints and then cracks Hallister's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hallister down.
Uno will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Uno throws a head kick but Hallister moves out of range.
Uno cracks the inside of Hallister's front leg.
Hallister looks gassed!
Hallister tries to work over Uno's front leg with a kick but Uno checks it.
Uno lands the left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hallister misses the shot to the body.

Uno drops Hallister with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hallister looks back up at him and smiles so Uno waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Hallister is rocked!
Hallister takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hallister is still on wobbly legs! Can Uno finish him?
Some bone on bone action there as Hallister checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Uno scores with a jab to the body.
Hallister seems to have recovered his senses.
Good shot there by Uno.
Uno thumps Hallister with a low kick.
Uno ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hallister takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Uno gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Uno pushes Hallister back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hallister misses with a punch on the inside.
Uno doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Uno escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hallister moves out of range of the leg kick from Uno.
Hallister is looking to slow Uno down with leg kicks.

Hallister on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Uno cracks a nice hook into Hallister's ribs.
Uno connects with a solid leg kick.

Uno instigates a clinch.
Uno lands with a right to the head.

Uno breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Uno moves into range and connects with a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Uno just misses with a punch to the body.

Hallister takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Uno connects with a leg kick. Hallister looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Uno tries to clinch up but Hallister circles away and keeps his distance.
Uno lands with an uppercut that bounces Hallister off the cage and back into range.
Hallister bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Uno circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Hallister drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Uno follows Hallister to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
