Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Dummy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Ward's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ward pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Dummy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Dummy dives in and grabs Ward's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ward pushes down on Dummy's head and hops out.
Dummy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ward sprawls well. Ward wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dummy gets slowly back to his feet.
Dummy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ward tries to avoid it but Dummy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ward to the ground. Ward escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Palmer Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ward lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dummy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dummy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
