The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hextole avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee throws a right and a left that Hextole avoids nicely.
Lee moves away from the strike by Hextole.

Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hextole keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Lee tries to bum rush Hextole with a series of wild strikes but Hextole uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hextole closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Hextole pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Nice uppercut lands for Hextole. That snapped Lee's head back.
Hextole shoots for a takedown but Lee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee leaves Hextole with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hextole takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Good leg kick by Lee there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Hextole is looking to clinch but Lee is avoiding it.

That was a close round but I would say that Jun Fan Lee will probably get the nod.
