Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David Parker!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Hilton!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker swinging wilding here.
Hilton throws a big shot that misses.
Hilton goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

enabling Parker to counter with a crisp jab.

Parker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hilton.
Hilton scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

and Parker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Parker doesn't manage to clinch there - Hilton circles away.

David Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parker tries to bum rush Hilton with a series of wild strikes but Hilton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Parker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hilton circles away.
Parker misses with a takedown attempt - Hilton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Parker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hilton sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Parker tries to break the clinch but Hilton is controlling the position.

and Hilton counters with a big head kick but Parker shrugs it off.
Parker's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Parker duly obliges.
Parker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hilton connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Parker momentarily.

and Hilton counters with an inside leg kick.

and Hilton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hilton lands a two punch combo.

Hilton looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hilton goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Oh Parker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Parker throws a leg kick
and Hilton counters with a low kick, right behind Parker 's knee.
Hilton walks into a stiff left hand from Parker.
Parker seems to have got his legs back now.
Parker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Hilton counters by clinching up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Parker is breathing heavily.
Hilton throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Parker blocks it with crossed arms.

Hilton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Parker throws an off balance right hand
and Hilton counters with a three punch combo that has Parker backing up. Parker nods at Hilton to acknowledge the strikes.
Hilton works over Parker's head and body with a nice combination.
Parker jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hilton looks for the body kick but Parker saw that one coming.
Hilton throws a head kick that Parker semi-blocks.
Hilton lands a high kick!
Hilton is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Parker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hilton finds it's way round the side to connect with Parker's head.
Parker has his takedown stuffed
and Hilton counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Parker is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Hilton scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Parker walks into a stiff left hand from Hilton.

Parker tries to keep at a distance but Hilton has taken the fight into the clinch.

Parker is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hilton is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Parker to the mat. Parker regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hilton wants to stand but Parker is controlling his posture from full guard.
Hilton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Parker is keeping the position for now.
Parker keeping moving, preventing Hilton from controlling successfully.
Parker is trying to control the position but Hilton postures up.

Parker has his foot on Hilton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hilton works his way back into a safe position though.
Hilton looking to pass the guard.

Parker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hilton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hilton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Parker looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hilton is defending well. Parker quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hilton has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Parker celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). David Parker!
