Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Fedorovich!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedorovich moves out of range of the body kick from Child.
Child looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Child fails with an attempt to clinch.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Child.
Child drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Fedorovich tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Child wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Child is working Fedorovich over with some ground and pound from side control.
Child goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fedorovich has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Child but great work by Fedorovich.
Fedorovich is working to tighten is grip on Child's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Child has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fedorovich is really squeezing tight and eventually Child passes out! Fedorovich breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
