Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Eddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Get Out the Way-Hollywood Undead kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Eddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Davis!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eddy moves into range and clinches up with Davis.
Davis wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Davis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Eddy.

Eddy manages to break the clinch.
Eddy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Eddy as he jumps to the side.
Eddy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Eddy misses with a low kick.
Eddy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davis pinned against the cage. Davis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Eddy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eddy shoots in and drives through. Davis sprawls well.
Ryan Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Eddy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Davis!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis is trying desperately to improve position.
Davis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Eddy has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Davis's face.
Davis is in all sorts of trouble here.
Eddy blocks Davis's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Davis is working to get back to half guard.
Davis flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Davis can't escape the position.
Eddy dominating with strikes here.
Davis is looking to improve his position but Eddy isn't that keen on the idea.
Davis looks gassed!
Eddy cracks Davis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Eddy tries to control but Davis wriggling away.
Davis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Davis is trying to escape the mount.
Eddy controlling the pace for now.

Eddy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Davis can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Davis is looking to get to half guard.
Eddy is landing with some decent strikes but Davis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Davis is working to get back to half guard.
Eddy trying to control but Davis is having none of it.
Davis tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Eddy trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Davis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Davis throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Eddy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Davis tries to hold on but Eddy pushes him away.
Eddy controlling his opponent.
Davis bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Davis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Eddy controls Davis momentarily but Davis frees himself.
Davis scoring with punches to the head and body.
Davis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Eddy thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Davis won't allow Eddy to sweep him here.
Davis forces his way into half guard.
Nice strikes from Davis there.
Eddy is looking to escape.
Davis wants to pass to mount but Eddy is defending the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Davis works his foot free and advances to mount.
Eddy bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Eddy is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Davis has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Eddy is looking to defend but Davis has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Eddy! Davis pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Eddy taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ryan Davis!
