Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Armas Ruutana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruutana's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ennio Morricone - Man With A Harmonica. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Armas Ruutana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juan Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruutana takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gonzalez misses with a hook
and Ruutana counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ruutana drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gonzalez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ruutana has Gonzalez in his guard.
Ruutana throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Ruutana wants to sweep here but Gonzalez controlling him for the moment.
Ruutana is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ruutana is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gonzalez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Ruutana cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ruutana throws a jab when Gonzalez was well out of range.

Ruutana tries to close the distance and clinch but Gonzalez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ruutana pushes down on Gonzalez's leg and manages to get into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ruutana throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gonzalez looks to land a left hand but Ruutana moved out of range nicely.

Ruutana slips a straight right by Gonzalez.
Ruutana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gonzalez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ruutana looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Gonzalez throws out a loose jab but Ruutana uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ruutana changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gonzalez tries to avoid it but Ruutana manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gonzalez to the ground. Gonzalez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gonzalez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ruutana.

Gonzalez lands the left hand.
Juan Gonzalez seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ruutana lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ruutana lunges at Gonzalez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gonzalez's hand.

Ruutana takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gonzalez leaves Ruutana with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Armas Ruutana. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ruutana moves out of range as Gonzalez strikes.

Ruutana punishes Gonzalez's body with a nice straight punch.

Gonzalez has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ruutana.
Ruutana fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ruutana displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gonzalez throws out the jab.
Ruutana shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gonzalez sprawls well. Gonzalez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ruutana gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ruutana throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gonzalez's waist but Gonzalez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ruutana off to one side.

Gonzalez might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Ruutana fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gonzalez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Ruutana has an Americana. Gonzalez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ruutana is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ruutana hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
