The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis throws a good cross that connects.
Gilmore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gilmore fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lewis manages to avoid it.
Gilmore scores with a kick to the body.
Gilmore moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gilmore throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lewis misses with a two punch combination.
Gilmore thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gilmore uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lewis.
Lewis throws a one two combo.
Gilmore fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A combination from Lewis does no damage.
Gilmore tries to clinch up.
Lewis stuffs the takedown.
Lewis avoids a kick to the body.
Lewis thows a body shot but no joy.
A slapping leg kick lands for Gilmore.

Lewis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gilmore is looking to improve his position.

Lewis stands up and beckons Gilmore to join him on the feet.

Lewis lands a jab-cross combination.
Gilmore lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lewis does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hunter Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gilmore on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Lewis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lewis throws a head kick that misses.
Gilmore misses with a low kick.
Gilmore tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lewis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lewis throws a push kick but Gilmore slaps the foot to one side.

Gilmore scores with a takedown into Lewis's guard.
Lewis keeping moving, preventing Gilmore from controlling successfully.
Lewis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gilmore is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Lewis raining down shots from the mount!

Lewis prevents Gilmore from getting the reversal.

Lewis throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Gilmore has his hands clasped together but Lewis breaks the hold and Gilmore is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Lewis!
