Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Ricky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krun Dorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricky comes to the cage accompanied by Momma said KNOCK U OUT!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doug Ricky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krun Dorian!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dorian feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dorian trying to control the position from guard on top but Ricky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dorian stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ricky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dorian tries to lock up and control but Ricky gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Ricky has picked Dorian up - he's going for a ride! Ricky dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Ricky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dorian doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dorian manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dorian sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ricky's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ricky tries to get to full guard but Dorian has control of the leg.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dorian.
Ricky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ricky throws a sloppy head kick and Dorian moves out of range easily.
Dorian fails with the takedown.
Doug Ricky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krun Dorian.
Dorian takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Dorian changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ricky looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ricky is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Dorian tries to move into full mount but can't pass Ricky's legs.
Ricky tries to improve position but can't.
Dorian wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ricky keeps working.

Dorian is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ricky has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ricky tries to buck Dorian off but Dorian is having none of it.
Ricky is not content to let Dorian control the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ricky lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Dorian sprawling to the canvas. Ricky follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Dorian hang on?

Dorian is rocked!

It looks like Krun Dorian has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dorian has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ricky can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dorian jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ricky manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Dorian is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ricky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dorian is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ricky has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ricky is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dorian is controlling him well.
Ricky manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Ricky winds up and cracks Dorian with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Dorian wants to get back to full guard.

Dorian is pressing down on Ricky's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Dorian had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ricky is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dorian Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ricky's back instead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dorian has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Ricky! Can he survive? No! He's out! Dorian gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
