The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lucatelli tries to sprawl but Cutting drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Cutting decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Cutting connects with a body shot that sends Lucatelli's belly button to the back.

Lucatelli shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cutting defends it nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cutting closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lucatelli quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Bill Cutting will probably get the nod.

Lucatelli working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Cutting turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Lucatelli off and cradles Cutting's limp body as Lucatelli celebrates with his corner.
