The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Salabim closes the distance and clinches.
Salabim goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Salabim tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Salabim lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Salabim smiles and moves away.
Salabim wants to clinch.

Salabim moves into the clinch successfully.
Salabim swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Salabim.
Jones is trying to break the clinch but Salabim is controlling him.
Jones tries to break the clinch but Salabim is controlling the position.

Salabim tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Salabim lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jones backwards.

Jones is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Salabim swings wildly with an uppercut but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.

Salabim lands a hook that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Salabim makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Salabim is pressed up against the ropes. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Salabim down to the mat. Salabim avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Salabim swings wildly with an uppercut but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Salabim tries to throw a body punch but Jones avoids it by throwing Salabim back against the ropes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jones lands a nice hook to Salabim's body. Salabim takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Salabim throws a punch but it's blocked by Jones.
Jones has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Salabim is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Salabim works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Salabim is controlling him.

Jones wants to get back to his feet but Salabim is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Salabim throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Salabim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Salabim is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control.
Salabim prevents Jones from getting back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Salabim tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Salabim works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Salabim uses his free foot to push down on Jones's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jones.
Jones wants to try and get back to his feet.

Salabim is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Salabim can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jones is looking to escape.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Jones seems to have got his legs back now.
A lazy left from Salabim finds it's target.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Salabim.
The crowd cheers as Salabim lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jones doesn't seem phased though.

Salabim jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A nice combination there by Jones.
Salabim is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.

Salabim stalling against the ropes.

Salabim has Jones pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Salabim pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Jones tumbling to the mat - Salabim dives into Jones's guard.

Salabim thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.

Salabim looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Salabim wants to pass the guard but Jones is defending well.
Salabim thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.

Salabim breaks from Jones's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Jones's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Jones is squirming around, avoiding Salabim's attempts to control the action.

McGillicuddy Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jones takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Salabim's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
