The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oppenheim lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Kratos Spartan has been cut.
Spartan misses with a left hand
and Oppenheim connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Oppenheim lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Spartan circles away quickly and effectively.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spartan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Oppenheim. Oppenheim circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Spartan throws a right hand that misses
and Oppenheim finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

and Oppenheim counters with an outside leg kick.
Spartan looks gassed!
Oppenheim tests Spartan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Spartan takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A solid leg kick lands there for Oppenheim.

Oppenheim sends Spartan crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Oppenheim is motioning to the referee to let Spartan up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Spartan wants to stay close but Oppenheim steps back to make room for something. Spartan seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Oppenheim and Spartan drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
