The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Awesome looks to score with a jab to the body but Boon is just out of range.

Awesome closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boon to the mat! Boon manages to get full guard.

Boon is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Awesome could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Awesome is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Boon pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Boon has Awesome pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Awesome manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Awesome misses with a hook from the clinch.
Boon tries for a takedown but Awesome manages to get underhooks.
Awesome takes a knee to the side of the body.

Boon decides to pull guard.
Awesome trying to stand up but can't free himself from Boon's guard.
Boon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Awesome's guard.

Boon passes into half guard.

Boon is trying to work for a kimura but Awesome is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boon seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Awesome is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
