PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Gat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker has chosen Little Lion Man as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnny Gat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Walker!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gat fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gat throws a hook to the side of Walker's head but Walker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Gat clinches with his opponent.

Gat breaks from the clinch.
Gat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walker's waist but Walker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gat off to one side.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Walker throws a head kick but Gat moves out of range.
Walker shoots in looking for a takedown. Gat tries to sprawl out of it but Walker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gat clinches with his opponent.
Walker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gat walks away with a smile on his face. Walker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Good exchange - Walker coming out on top.

It looks like Johnny Gat has been cut.
Walker scores with a jab. Gat acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Walker staying out of range there.
A decent looking cross lands there for Walker.

Walker cracks Gat with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gat looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Walker finish him?

Gat is rocked!
Walker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gat.
Oh Gat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Gat. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gat is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gat shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gat fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Walker looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Walker backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Gat's temple! It sends Gat violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Walker celebrates and the doctors try to help Gat!
