Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Lerppa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Wendigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Keijo Lerppa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Wendigo!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wendigo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jon Wendigo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wendigo throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Wendigo cracks the inside of Lerppa's front leg.
Wendigo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lerppa. Lerppa circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lerppa shoots for a double leg takedown but Wendigo sprawls well. He's pushed Lerppa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lerppa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wendigo defends it nicely.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wendigo, right into the meat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wendigo. Lerppa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wendigo tries to bum rush Lerppa with a series of wild strikes but Lerppa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wendigo throws a low kick but Lerppa avoids it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Wendigo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters circling - Wendigo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wendigo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lerppa takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wendigo scores with a three punch combo!
Lerppa fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keijo Lerppa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab lands there for Wendigo.
Wendigo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wendigo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lerppa is breathing heavily.
Wendigo displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Lerppa is rocked!
Lerppa checks a low kick from Wendigo.
Wendigo throws a leg kick which misses Lerppa's front leg but catches the back leg as Lerppa tries to avoid it.
Wendigo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lerppa moves away.
Wendigo cracks a nice hook into Lerppa's ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
No luck for Lerppa with that takedown attempt.
Jon Wendigo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wendigo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lerppa.

Wendigo lands a high kick to the side of Lerppa's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Wendigo dives into guard, looking to finish.
Oh Lerppa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wendigo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lerppa is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wendigo connects with a decent elbow.

Wendigo lands some shots froms side control.
Wendigo lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lerppa down.
Wendigo trying to control the position but Lerppa is working away.
Lerppa takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Wendigo looks up at the clock and then as Lerppa takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wendigo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Wendigo scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Lerppa is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Wendigo can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
