Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock shoots in for a double leg but Richards sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rock gets a takedown into half guard.
Richards has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rock is working away from the top position though.
Rock is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Richards as he works his way to full guard.
Rock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Richards swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rock is working hard here to advance position.
Rock trying to control the position from guard on top but Richards is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Richards looking for a sweep. Not yet Richards, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rock looking to pass the guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Richards is looking to clinch but Rock is avoiding it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rock wants to lay and pray for a moment but Richards keeps working.
Rock is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Richards has managed to free his arm - good work.

Rock prevents Richards from improving his position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Nice sprawl there from Rock as Richards shoots in.
Richards swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rock doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Richards counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rock!

Rock is desperately trying to improve his position but Richards has a good base and remains in mount.
Rock bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Rock stands and throws Richards's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Richards tries to buck Rock off but Rock is having none of it.
Rock moves into full mount!
Rock is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Richards can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Rock looking to control but Richards is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Richards defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rock.

Rock is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Richards is in real trouble.
Rock has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Richards is in real trouble here. Rock gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Richards is tapping out! Rock wins by rear naked choke!
