Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salin Quadi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quadi has chosen Tupac - Changes as his entrance music. Salin Quadi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ramon Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Salin Quadi!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoost fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Quadi sprawls well initially but Hoost persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hoost drops an elbow to the side of Quadi's head.
Quadi trying to hold on to Hoost's head to control him but Hoost postures up.
Hoost knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Quadi on the ground.
Hoost lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Hoost thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Quadi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hoost pulls his head out easily.
Quadi wants to improve his position but Hoost is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quadi works his way to full guard. Good work.
Hoost wants to control from the top but Quadi keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hoost postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hoost throwing strikes but missing.
Quadi keeping full guard, as Hoost tries to pass.

Quadi has momentary wrist control but Hoost slips an elbow through the middle.
Quadi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hoost is one step ahead there.

Quadi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hoost doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hoost manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hoost with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Quadi looking for a guillotine here but Hoost defends easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Quadi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hoost stands up over Quadi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Quadi throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hoost works over Quadi with some ground and pound from guard.
Hoost won't allow Quadi to sweep him here.
Quadi looks gassed!
Hoost stands up over Quadi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hoost is in close to Quadi's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hoost lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hoost makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Quadi working for a triangle but Hoost defends it easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hoost's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Hoost distracts Quadi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quadi is trying to control the position but Hoost postures up.
Hoost lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Hoost pushes down on Quadi's leg and manages to get into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hoost looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hoost lands a nice short elbow.
Quadi is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hoost scores with a couple of nice shots.
Quadi is looking to improve his position.
Quadi wants to get back to full guard but Hoost has passed into side control.
Hoost is staying tight to Quadi's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Quadi takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Quadi is looking for a sweep.
Hoost is working Quadi over with some ground and pound from side control.
Hoost lands a few punches from side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Quadi taking punishment in the form of punches.


Quadi is rocked!
Hoost is chipping away with strikes.
Quadi is still in real trouble! Can Hoost finish him?
Hoost tries to move to mount but Quadi blocks the move with his legs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hoost scoring with punches and elbows.
Hoost in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Quadi looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Hoost turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ramon Hoost!
Ramon Hoost gave a mention to PRIME DESIGNS in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
