Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen throws a series of punches but Escobar moves out of range.
Hansen shoots in for a double leg but Escobar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Escobar misses with a head kick.
Hansen shoots in for a takedown but Escobar shows good takedown defense.
Hansen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pablo Escobar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kai Hansen.
Escobar tries a head kick but it misses.

Escobar cracks the inside of Hansen's front leg.

Escobar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hansen's elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is keeping an eye on Escobar - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Hansen tightens his grip and picks Escobar up, before dumping him to the ground. Escobar manages to land in guard.
Escobar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
