McHughes's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Welcome To My Hood. Mitrione Jr is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lynyrd Skynyrd Simple Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHughes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mitrione Jr.

McHughes throws a body punch but Mitrione Jr moves out of range.
McHughes throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Matt Mitrione Jr has been cut.
McHughes cracks a nice hook into Mitrione Jr's ribs.
McHughes rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Mitrione Jr counters with a nice double leg into side control. McHughes won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mitrione Jr throws a strike aimed at the side of McHughes's head but McHughes avoids it well.
McHughes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McHughes tries to get out of the position.
McHughes wants to control but Mitrione Jr postures up.
The strikes coming from Mitrione Jr are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Mitrione Jr tries to score with some ground and pound. McHughes controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
McHughes is looking to reverse the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mitrione Jr is working to tighten is grip on McHughes's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McHughes has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mitrione Jr is really squeezing tight and eventually McHughes passes out! Mitrione Jr breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
