Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fatty McFatty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klein East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying East's choice of entrance music: Cold as Ice- M.O.P.. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
East slips a jab from McFatty.
East looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFatty trying to control but East postures up.
East lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
East is nestled in close to McFatty, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

East is stalling here. McFatty is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! East seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and McFatty has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

East looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McFatty with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
East wants to free his trapped foot but McFatty is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

East tightens his grip and picks McFatty up, before dumping him to the ground. McFatty manages to land in guard.

McFatty breaks from East's wrist control and lands an elbow.

McFatty is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But East has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from East!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
East keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McFatty's head.
McFatty is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

McFatty looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

McFatty throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
East moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
McFatty misses with a series of wild punches.
McFatty closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on East's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
McFatty landing strikes.
McFatty creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

East takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
East gets back to half guard.
McFatty slips a nice elbow through East's hands, connecting with East's forehead.
East tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
East wants to get back to full guard.
McFatty wants to lay and pray for a moment but East keeps working.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McFatty connects with a nice short shot to East's temple.
East is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McFatty's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McFatty's back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
East is not going to allow McFatty to sit and survive in this position.
East lands an elbow to the side of the head.
McFatty can't escape the position.
McFatty rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
