Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dom Jacobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karol Operhalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dom Jacobson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karol Operhalski!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Operhalski takes a kick to the side of the head.


It looks like Karol Operhalski has been cut.

Jacobson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Operhalski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Operhalski keeping moving, preventing Jacobson from controlling successfully.
Operhalski tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Operhalski tries to keep at a distance but Jacobson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Operhalski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Operhalski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Jacobson is pushing down on Operhalski's leg trying to pass to half guard. Operhalski is fighting to maintain full guard but Jacobson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Jacobson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Operhalski sprawls well. Operhalski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jacobson gets slowly back to his feet.

Dom Jacobson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Jacobson tries to close the distance and clinch but Operhalski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dom Jacobson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Jacobson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
