Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ovaltrades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jager Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoffman has chosen Sharpshooter by Motorhead as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Ovaltrades!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jager Hoffman!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ovaltrades closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hoffman did well to prevent Ovaltrades getting side control.
Hoffman pushes Ovaltrades off looking to stand but Ovaltrades dives back in and keeps control.
Hoffman is staying active underneath Ovaltrades, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ovaltrades is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Ovaltrades is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hoffman sees it coming and defends easily.
Hoffman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ovaltrades is looking for a kimura but Hoffman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ovaltrades to get the leverage.

Hoffman is squirming around, avoiding Ovaltrades's attempts to control the action.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ovaltrades is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hoffman has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hoffman!

Ovaltrades has his foot on Hoffman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hoffman works his way back into a safe position though.

Hoffman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ovaltrades paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ovaltrades is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hoffman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hoffman has escaped and now he's on top!
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Ovaltrades here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Hoffman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hoffman wants to stand and escape but instead Ovaltrades has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Ovaltrades drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hoffman dives on top into guard.

Hoffman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ovaltrades has him pressed against the cage.
Ovaltrades fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hoffman tries to land a knee to the head but Ovaltrades blocks with his arms.
Hoffman looking to throw knees to the head but Ovaltrades is blocking nicely.
Hoffman is trying to force a seperation but Ovaltrades has the dominant position.
Hoffman is trying to maintain a safe position but Ovaltrades gets an underhook and turns Hoffman into the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hoffman tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Ovaltrades has Hoffman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hoffman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ovaltrades drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hoffman gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jack Ovaltrades is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ovaltrades jumps guard but Hoffman stands there with Ovaltrades around his waist. Ovaltrades gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
