Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spiros Geo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Geo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Trevor Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Geo throws a push kick but Dean slaps the foot to one side.
Geo has a takedown stuffed.

Geo instigates a clinch.
Dean tries to work over Geo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Come on Geo - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Dean manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Geo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dean fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Geo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dean walks away with a smile on his face. Geo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Geo dives in and grabs Dean's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dean pushes down on Geo's head and hops out.

Dean closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dean tries a knee to the head but Geo blocks it.
The referee calls for Dean to work.
Dean misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dean connects with a nasty looking knee right to Geo's face.

Geo looks to land a combination but Dean avoids it well.
Geo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dean sprawls well. Dean wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Geo gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Trevor Dean will probably get the nod.

Dean throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Geo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dean, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
