Byron moves into the clinch successfully.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Sagard misses with a short punch on the inside.

It looks like Seven Sagard has been cut.
Sagard wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sagard is trying to push Byron away but Byron has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Byron throws an elbow but it misses.
Byron stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Sagard tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
With the fighters up against the cage, Byron throws an elbow but misses.
Sagard has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Sagard dodges an elbow strike from Byron.
Byron lands an elbow inside.

That has opened up Seven Sagard's cut even more.

Sagard is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Sagard wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sagard wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Byron has him pressed against the cage.
Sagard looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Byron lands a damaging elbow.

Seven Sagard's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Seven Sagard's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
