Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Travis Cork!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pwnasaurus Rex!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cork wants to clinch up but Rex keeps it at a distance.
Rex shoots in but Cork avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Cork closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cork lands in his opponent's guard.
Rex lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cork!
Cork knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rex on the ground.
Cork is trying desperately to improve position.
Cork is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Rex breaks from Cork's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rex with shots to the head and body - Cork looks very uncomfortable down there.
Cork is working to get back to half guard.
Rex has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rex is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Cork is surviving well by controlling Rex's body position as best he can.
Rex is landing with some decent strikes but Cork is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Rex prevents Cork from getting the reversal.
Rex cracks Cork with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rex trying to control but Cork is having none of it.
Rex pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rex lands a big shot there that rocks Cork but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rex landing punches.
Rex looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Rex lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cork hang on?


Cork is rocked!
Rex trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Oh Cork is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cork takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Rex's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pwnasaurus Rex!
