Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Hrozny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hrozny has chosen 'Paint It Black' by The Rolling Stones as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hrozny is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wayne.
Wayne misses with an uppercut. Hrozny saw that one coming.
Wayne throws a jab but it's blocked by Hrozny.
Hrozny shoots for a takedown but Wayne saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The fighters circling - Wayne throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hrozny on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hrozny has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hrozny there as he acknowledges the shot.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hrozny is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Wayne tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jan Hrozny.
Wayne moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hrozny tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wayne sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hrozny somewhat.
Sloppy strikes from Wayne. Those never looked like landing.

Wayne fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hrozny looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hrozny. Wayne does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hrozny throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wayne scores with a shot to the body.
Hrozny looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wayne jabs Hrozny to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wayne lands with a nice body punch.

Wayne tests Hrozny's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Wayne on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wayne tries to get out of the position.
Wayne wants to stand but Hrozny is controlling the position.

Hrozny postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wayne is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hrozny, into his guard.

Hrozny escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wayne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hrozny has a closed guard, preventing Wayne from standing up.

Wayne won't allow Hrozny to sweep him here.

Wayne decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hrozny, up you get!
Hrozny shoots in and drives through. Wayne sprawls well.
Hrozny takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
No luck for Hrozny with that takedown attempt.
Wayne misses with the combination.
Hrozny walks into a left hand.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hrozny throws a jab but it's blocked by Wayne.

Hrozny closes the distance and clinches up with Wayne, looking for a takedown. Hrozny pushes Wayne against the cage but Wayne circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wayne thuds his right hand into Hrozny's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Wayne counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Wayne clobbers Hrozny with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Wayne lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

and Wayne counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hrozny! He's just covering up as Wayne starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
