Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Inge Koll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koll comes to the cage accompanied by Burn in hell. Davis has chosen Marine Corps Hymn as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. George Davis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Davis wants to control but Koll is keeping busy.

Davis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Davis connects with a nice short shot to Koll's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Koll is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Davis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Davis tries to bum rush Koll with a series of wild strikes but Koll uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Davis counters with a series of strikes. Koll will be more careful next time no doubt.
Davis misses with a hook. Koll ducked under it nicely.
Koll moves forwards but Davis connects with a nice, crisp jab.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Inge Koll. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Koll takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Davis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Davis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Davis fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
