The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sengir looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kitty scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Kitty misses with a body shot.
Kitty tries to work over Sengir's front leg with a kick but Sengir checks it.

Sengir moves into the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Kitty scores with a nice short uppercut.

It looks like Veldrane Sengir has been cut.
Kitty lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Veldrane Sengir's cut is getting worse.
Kitty misses with a looping right.
Sengir tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kitty swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sengir gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kitty.
A telegraphed right hand from Kitty misses the target.
Kitty cracks Sengir with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The crowd cheers as Kitty lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sengir doesn't seem phased though.
Kitty scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sengir doesn't seem bothered though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kitty tries to bum rush Sengir with a series of wild strikes but Sengir uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kitty loads up on a big right hand but Sengir slips the punch.
Mean "Sparta" Kitty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kitty throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sengir checks a leg kick.
Kitty throws a chopping leg kick but Sengir manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kitty misses with a hook.
Kitty defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sengir.
Sengir takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kitty lands a body shot.
Sengir is breathing heavily.
Kitty throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kitty looks to land a combination. Sengir sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Veldrane Sengir's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Kitty lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kitty thows a left - swing and a miss!

Sengir will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kitty misses with a straight right.
Kitty fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sengir.
Sengir is looking to clinch but Kitty is avoiding it.
Kitty tests Sengir's chin there with a solid looking shot.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sengir. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Kitty swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sengir pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sengir moves forwards but Kitty connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Kitty cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Jeez, Veldrane Sengir's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Veldrane Sengir's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mean "Sparta" Kitty!
Mean "Sparta" Kitty was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
