The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurcina throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Da Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jurcina lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Da Silva stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jurcina.
Jurcina throws a hook but Da Silva blocks it.

Da Silva tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jurcina is able to avoid easily.

Jurcina lands a nice hook to Da Silva's body. Da Silva takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Da Silva tries to clinch there but Jurcina circles away.
Da Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jurcina.
Da Silva moves out of range of the strikes.
Jurcina fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jurcina throws a chopping leg kick but Da Silva manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Jurcina tries to land a front kick but Da Silva steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jurcina fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Da Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Da Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Da Silva is breathing heavily.
Jurcina drops Da Silva with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Da Silva! Jurcina dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
