Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manny Calavera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Atleetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atleetti is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Beyonce - Halo. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atleetti tries to score a power double leg takedown but Calavera sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Atleetti somewhat.
Atleetti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Calavera's waist but Calavera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Atleetti off to one side.
A punch lands to the side of Atleetti 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Atleetti shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Calavera sprawls well. Calavera wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Atleetti gets slowly back to his feet.

Calavera tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Atleetti was well out of range. Poor timing from Calavera.

I really don't envy Calavera right now.
Atleetti is persistently looking for the submission but Calavera is defending it well.
Calavera looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Atleetti controlling the position well here. Calavera rolled but Atleetti kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Calavera is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Well, with Atleetti on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Calavera is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Calavera tries to escape but Atleetti has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Atleetti doesn't have the hooks in and Calavera manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Calavera slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Atleetti uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Calavera.
Atleetti fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Calavera avoids it really well and circles away.
Atleetti shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Calavera pinned against the cage. Calavera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Calavera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
